Mott Motorcycles was established in 1975 by Steve Mott and has proudly remained a family-owned business ever since. Our motorcycle superstore sits on the outskirts of Basingstoke, Hampshire, and has grown into one of the area’s most trusted names in motorcycling. After Steve’s passing, the dealership was taken over by his son Robert Mott, who continues to lead the business with the same passion and dedication to riders that his father instilled.
Over the decades we have worked with many makes and models, but our close partnership with Yamaha, a brand renowned for its innovation and reliability, allows us to offer our customers the very best in motorcycles, scooters, and after-sales support. Our spacious showroom is home to a wide variety of brand-new Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, catering for every kind of rider, from commuters and first-time bikers to adventure seekers and performance enthusiasts. Alongside our new range, we also stock a carefully chosen selection of quality used motorcycles, with our experienced team on hand to offer advice and guidance to help you find the right bike.

The showroom is looked after by our passionate Yamaha trained sales team who are all riders themselves! We can help you to find a bike suitable for your requirements. Most of the Yamaha range is kept for demonstration purposes so we may even be able to arrange a test ride to help with your decision (by appointment). As the accessory range grows on a daily basis, we will even be able to customise your bike so it has the most essential, functional, comfortable and protective equipment available!
Inside our dealership we have a large clothing department which stocks many mens and ladies textile and leather garments. These include (but not limited to) helmets, boots, gloves, jackets, trousers and jeans. Brands in-store include Oxford, Richa, TCX, Shark, Arai, AGV, HJC, Alpinestars, VR46 and much more. Our dedicated staff have been trained by these brands to ensure we can find you the most suitable product that doesn't compromise on both safety and comfort! We pride ourselves on offering you the best service and advice so you can feel right at home when shopping with us.
As well as clothing, we also have a well stocked parts and accessories department. We can order replacement and after-market parts for a range of bikes to help keep you on the road. Our products cover the most essential maintenance, luggage, security and cleaning products on the market. You can buy brands such as Silkolene, Putoline, Yamalube, Scottoiler, Muc-Off, Oxford and Kappa .
Inside our dealership we have a huge workshop to offer you many other services such as MoTs, tyre fitting, repairs and modifications. We have factory trained technicians, meaning we can offer you some of the best services to keep your motorcycle or scooter safe on the road and performing at its very best. There is no job that is too big or too small for us!
