Test ride terms and conditions:
- Test rides are subject to status and availability. We reserve the right to refuse any test ride request.
- Riders must be 18 years of age or older and hold a full Category A motorcycle licence.
- Any driving convictions or insurance claims will be taken into account before approval (contact us in advance if you have more than 10 points on your licence or more than 1 insurance claim in the last 3 years).
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete paperwork and ask any questions.
- If you arrive late, we reserve the right to cancel your test ride.
- We may cancel or postpone test rides due to adverse weather conditions for safety reasons.
Event-Specific Conditions:
- Test rides during this event are limited to one model per rider. However, we invite you back at a later date to explore other models.
- Test rides are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes. Again, you are welcome to return for a longer ride on another day.
- A sufficient amount of fuel will be provided, but we do not cover additional expenses incurred during the ride. If needed, please return to us for a refuel.
What to Bring:
- Your photocard driving licence (new style).
- A DVLA driving licence check code https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
- A second proof of address, dated within the last 3 months, matching the name and address on your licence. This can be a physical copy or emailed in advance. (We retain this for 3 months.)
- You must arrive in your own transport – your keys will be held for the duration of the test ride.
- If you hold the old-style paper licence, you must bring it plus one additional form of photo ID, such as a passport. A second proof of address is still required.
- If you are unable to provide any of the above, we will be unable to accommodate your test ride.
- Additional Information: You must bring your own motorcycle helmet and appropriate riding gear. Note: We stock a range of helmets, jackets, trousers, gloves, and boots in our clothing department if needed.
Data Sharing Notice:
- To arrange your test ride, your details will be added to the Yamaha Motor UK database, and a MyYamaha account will be created.
- You will receive an email from Yamaha to set your marketing preferences – you will not be automatically opted in.
